Cornerstones - Our Philosophy of Practice
Excellence, integrity, compassion and education are the cornerstones of Scott Dentistry. It is my purpose that as a solo practitioner, I provide dental care to the citizens of Lubbock and the South Plains. Comprehensive dental care is the standard at which my patients are treated. My patients are searching for a family dentist who does not limit his dental practice to certain areas of dentistry. In addition, I will associate myself with specialists who have the same philosophy of patient care. Thus, when a patient’s dental need is beyond my abilities, referral to the appropriate specialist will be made without concern.
Just as a house is only as strong as its cornerstones, so is Scott Dentistry. Excellence, being the first cornerstone, will be apparent not only in my dentistry but also in my staff, facility, lab and other associations.
In all human affairs there are efforts, and there are results, and the strength of the effort is the measure of the result.

This will be achieved through opportunities for patient education with printed material, multimedia presentations, internet references and oral instruction and demonstration. Second, continuing education will be a requirement for all team members of Scott Dentistry to ensure patients are offered the best that dentistry has to offer.
