About Our Team

Allison Scott, Office Manager

Allison never intended to be a dental office manager.  Her education is in Science, and she taught high school Biology, Chemistry, and Anatomy & Physiology after graduating from college.  But when she and her husband decided to move home to Lubbock in 2002 and open a dental practice, she gladly filled the role of running the office.  Allison takes great pride in her work with diverse and numerous duties, but the most important is providing patients with exceptional experiences at every visit.  She and Dr. Scott have committed themselves to creating a culture for the patients and staff which is rooted in doing the right thing for people, often self-sacrificing to help others, and being an example of love and generosity.

Outside of office hours, she is a full-time, non-stop, super-busy wife and mom. She loves to spend time with her high school sweetheart—Micheal—host gatherings in their home, watch their son’s Friday Night Football games, do all the girl-things with her daughter, go antique shopping with her mom and mother-in-law, and occasionally indulge in her love for fashion.  Allison enjoys just about every creative outlet in the book: cooking, baking, decorating, gardening, and photography. She is blessed to have a full calendar and a full heart!

Allison’s favorite scripture: “And what does the Lord require of you?  To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”  Micah 6: 8

Noelle, Registered Dental Assistant

Noelle began her dental career at Scott Dentistry in 2010 and has become an integral part of our work.  She never hesitates to learn something new, take on a new responsibility, or step in wherever there is need.  In the world of dentistry, Noelle cherishes the opportunity she gets to make every patient feel safe and heard, to ensure patients feel special, and to know her work is truly helping people every day.  If you could describe a person as “sunshine,” that would be Noelle, as she is a warm smiling display of genuine caring.

Noelle grew up in California, but she made her way to Texas as fast as she could.  Her kind heart and love for people make her a perfect fit for life in West Texas.  Her daughter Blaire is our miracle girl, conquering Mermaid Syndrome, and showing the world her curious, tenacious, sassy style for the last 3 years. On any given weekend you’ll find Noelle playing Barbie’s with Blaire, strolling through the local farmer’s market, or out with friends enjoying her favorite street tacos.

Noelle’s favorite quote:

“The only difference between where you are and where you want to be is the steps you haven’t taken yet.”  -Rigel J. Dawson

Karrigian, Registered Dental Assistant

Karrigian has been in dentistry since 2019 and, though she is young, has proven to be as skilled in dental assisting as even some of the most mature in her field. Her favorite thing about working in dentistry is building relationships with patients and having satisfaction that she is truly helping people every single day. Karrigian has a confidence that patients trust, a calming effect on everyone around her, and an uncanny ability to crack the mundane moments with her silly humor.

She grew up in Lubbock and spent the majority of her childhood in a dance studio preparing for recitals and competitions. She is a self-proclaimed homebody preferring to spend time wrapped up in a blanket reading her new favorite book with her dog, Dot, and cat, Charlotte, nearby. Only when it’s warm, because she hates the cold, you’ll find Karrigian outdoors hiking or camping with her friends and family. Lately, she’s busy with a wedding planner in hand as she marks off the things to do in preparation to marry the man of her dreams in 2022!

Karrigian’s favorite scripture: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Sara, Patient Coordinator

Sara joined Scott Dentistry in 2011, but it feels like she’s been part of the team since day one. Though her stature is petite, her heart and smile are gigantic. Sara has worked in dentistry for 16 years and has a gift for remembering the tiniest of details about patients…she is genuine, compassionate, and finds great joy in helping people. She is a problem-solver, task-master, and peace-maker. Sara is the first smiling face patients meet when walking in our doors, and she’s the last “have a great day” when they walk out.  Patients have come to trust her with more than making their next appointments, and that’s because her heart is pure and her motives are genuine.

Sara’s daughter, Aubree, keeps her busy when she’s home from college. They enjoy Friday nights at Garcia’s and movie nights at home. Sara and Aubree share 3 dogs between them, and regularly foster dogs from the shelter until they can find good homes. Sara’s mother is a plant lover which eventually rubbed off on Sara, who now provides a home to over 20 plants of her own. She is a self-declared “plant nerd” but finds great joy in the nurturing, caring, and growing process her little green buddies provide. Sara finds great satisfaction in a clean house, tidy kitchen, and well-organized drawer. On the weekends, you’ll find her in the plant section of her favorite home store, at church on Sunday mornings, or spending time with family & friends.

Sara’s favorite scripture: “She is clothed with strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future.”  Proverbs 31:25

Wendy, Registered Dental Hygienist

Wendy spent a few years in healthcare management before discovering the world of dentistry.  After completing her education in Dental Hygiene, she first landed at Scott Dentistry.  Wendy loves that Dr. Scott encourages her to learn and grow continuously, which provides her with knowledge that she then gets to share with her patients. Building relationships based on trust is her favorite thing about her work. Wendy is loved by patients for her warm welcome, comforting tone, genuine interest, and under-stated confidence. She is a natural when it comes to communication and establishing trust, and she’s sincerely thankful to have a job she loves!

Wendy’s life outside of work is filled with her other two loves…her husband, Jason, and daughter, Avery. Jason is an art teacher at a local middle school, and his creative nature blends well with Wendy’s. She loves to do DIY projects, chalk paint, decorate, and get messy with Avery doing arts and crafts. Wendy’s typical weekend is spent chasing her English Setter puppy, cheering for Avery at jiu-jitsu tournaments, housekeeping, Bible-studies, and spending time with family in Idalou where she grew up.

Wendy’s favorite quotes: “When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.”  –Anthony Robbins   and “We’re all rough drafts of the people we’re becoming.” –Bob Goff

Erica, Registered Dental Hygienist

Erica’s dental career started as a dental assistant, which inspired her to become a Dental Hygienist 11 years ago.  She joined the Scott Dentistry team in 2021, and quickly filled the missing piece of our puzzle.  Erica is bright (mind, spirit, and smile), exudes joy, and walks in gratefulness. Her patients are impressed by a gentleness in her words and techniques, and she gains trust quickly. Erica’s goal each day is to combine her faith and her skills to make meaningful connections and improve the health and lives of her patients.

Family is certainly the focus of Erica’s life. She’s a devoted wife to her supportive husband, Landen, and loving mom to her handsome boys, Raylan and Barrett. She was raised in Brownfield, Texas, and small-town living taught her not to be afraid of getting dirty. On weekends, you’ll find Erica splashing through puddles on her long-distance runs, preparing, weeding, and harvesting her impressive backyard garden, and finger-painting (which quickly becomes body painting) with her two little boys. She also enjoys perusing the local farmer’s markets on Saturday and a good carb-heavy meal (fuel for running) with her church family on Sundays.

Erica’s favorite scripture: “But the angel said to the women, Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.”  Matthew 28:5-6
